Hello! Or should I say Bonjour?

In case you missed it, I’ve moved to the South of France and am getting a Masters in Sports Business Management. I meant to post here earlier but I’ve been a bit too busy clubbing… I mean going to class… Obviously.

I’ll be here through June and then anywhere (hopefully London or Italy) for an internship. I’m not as homesick as you’d think, but maybe that’s because there are stunning beaches, fabulous friends, and a bit too many things to do. Of course, I miss my family (hi guys!!), dog (who just had his sweet 16!), friends, and Diet Coke. Coke Zero is tragic, unfortunately. One thing I never thought I’d say was that I missed the traffic on the 5 and my car! The public transportation here is … interesting. Incredibly gorgeous views along the coast accompanied by sweaty people shoving you into the train really make you miss good old Californian gridlock.

I’m currently heading to Paris (crazy sentence) for a much-deserved holiday and some tennis. We’ve been stuck in class without a long weekend for ages and I’m very much missing my years at Boulder without Monday/Friday classes!

Back in August, Michy and I had a great week bopping around the area; shopping, and wine tasting before she left me to fend for myself in Nice. (I do have more posts about that too!)

My schedule has been actually so packed with school, nights out (which, begin after midnight, and have ended a few too many times after 6 a.m.), and just getting used to life over here. Good thing I had some lovely visitors back in early September right after my mom left. Sarah and Maddy kept me company after my apartment building decided to catch on fire (the night before I moved in) and through welcome week. Then my grandparents came from Italy for a long weekend of French food. That’s a joke by the way, most places here are Italian, but I’m not particularly disappointed by that.

Anyway, lots more to come soon, but just wanted to check in now.

Love n miss you lots!
