Monaco, baby!
Monaco, baby!

Coming to you live from the Denver airport on my way back to France! I know there's probably something deep I could write about flying from my first college town to my current one but I've only had a single glass of wine, so nothing about that now!

I know, I know! Every post I seem to be promising more updates and here we are in 2025 with approximately 2.5 to show for the last 3 years. But! 2025 has made me a

changed woman. I'm growing ever closer to my quarter life crisis and I think a few blog posts can help me through the prospect of being, gulp, in my early mid-twenties (I'm refusing to fully say "mid." Get over it.).

Anyway, a lot happened in 2024! I finally am living in Europe! I've embarked on a frightening amount of karaoke nights, midnight swims while waiting for the train back to Nice (thankfully no more trains, just a quick walk up the hill), and several Aperol happy hours! I'm halfway (ish) through my masters in Sports Business Management. Yes, I officially gave up - err - changed courses! Away from law and fashion and to no one's surprise am backing looking for a job in sports. So if anyone knows anyone in motorsport, golf, soccer (ugh, ok fine! "football"), or honestly anything that isn't like ski ballet, do let me know!

I'm living in a fabulous apartment with amazing girls from my program (shout out Ella, Channing, and Stella!). I would say that we're currently "view rich, appliance poor." I guess I'll trade a stunning view of the Med from the comfort of my bed for no functioning fridge or dishwasher, lukewarm showers, and a frighteningly loud washing machine. Yes, yes, I know! Poor me!

Unfortunately I still speak no French and to my grandpa's dismay, no Italian either, and yes that might be on me for only going to one Italian class. However! They make you speak Italian immediately and I was never one to speak during Socratic Seminars when they were in English! And yes, I LOVE to yap, but this simply wasn't in the cards for me. I think I'll stick to Babble or my beautiful multi-lingual friends.

Sorry to keep this short, I promised my mom I'd spend my time waiting for my flight looking for internships so must be going! See you soon!!

Xx
